In addition to our corporate giving and sponsorship initiatives, Rexall Foundation, created in 2003, is a charitable organization dedicated to partnering with our customers, vendor partners and member stores to raise funds for community-based health charities across Canada.

Rexall Foundation’s Board of Directors ensures that reputable community and health-based charitable organizations and causes are supported across the country.

Rexall Foundation Program Spotlight - Kids Health Program

As pharmacists we know how powerful medications can be in healing. We also know when it comes to children that sometimes a good dose of hope, spirit and laughter can be the best prescription of all. That's why Rexall Foundation has created the Kids Health Program - dedicated to supporting the most courageous children through healthy living programs and support services.

We thank the generosity of Rexall and Rexall Pharma Plus and their customers who donate the cost of plastic bags to the Kids Health Program. Every dollar the company spends on the purchase of plastic bags is donated penny for penny to Rexall Foundation. 100% of these funds are donated directly to a Rexall Foundation Kids Health charity.

In Fall 2010, Rexall Foundation Kids Health Program sent 50 children to Camp Oochigeas, a privately funded, volunteer based camp for children with cancer. The camp is a magical place where kids diagnosed or impacted with cancer can have a fun, challenging and rewarding experience.

We are now accepting applications for Kids Health Program recipients. To request a donation from the Rexall Foundation complete the Donation Request Form. Please review the donation request guidelines to ensure the most effective communication of your organization's donation proposal.

Rexall Volunteers at Camp Ooch

On June 16th, Rexall Foundation hosted a volunteer day at Camp Oochigeas - a camp for kids coping with cancer in Northern Ontario. Volunteers from our head office and GTA stores volunteered their time to lend a helping hand and get the camp ready for this summers' campers.

Volunteers spent the day raking leaves, chopping wood, painting and repairing cabins, just to name a few of the day's projects. Overall the day was a huge success and staff at Camp Oochigeas were incredibly thankful.
